Worthy and Found

I turned and saw the reflection
Of a woman I once knew
Rippling a pool
She never belonged to
Where water grew stagnant
And her thirst never quenched
She questioned herself
What it all meant
When wading the waters
Finally swept her away
To a current downstream
Where she could finally lay
Her dreams and her fears
Surrendered her soul
To living somewhere
Worthy and finally found
Wrapped securely
Owning the heart that was hers
